Usva (Mist)

Shades of grey and natural white blend softly into one another, like a quiet mist over a forest. The surface of the wool shows a vibrant structure – small variations in the fibres and natural markings that make every part its own.

The felt has been born by hand, in the calm movement of warm water and Marseille soap. The wool has been allowed to settle into place gradually, without haste, by listening to the material and its own rhythm.

A light, vine-like motif runs around the hat. It is reminiscent of a frost-drawn plant or the quiet trace of a cold morning – something that does not announce itself, but stays with you.

The shape is soft and protective, draping naturally. Every detail has formed without precise anticipation, making this hat entirely unique.

Usva accompanies you in the sauna, at the ice hole, and in the hot tub, as well as on winter days and forest excursions. It brings with it a sense of calm and a moment of stillness.

Production: Hand-felted with Marseille soap in Salo, Southwest Finland

Feature: The wool naturally contains some lanolin, which helps repel moisture and keeps the felt soft.

Care: Air out after use. Light hand-cleaning if needed. Do not machine wash.

Lifecycle: Fully natural and biodegradable material – when the time comes, the hat can be composted.
