Pilke (Twinkle)

The pale, almost translucent surface is reminiscent of frost snow where light pauses for a moment. The shade lives softly – small warm tones and the wool's own markings run through the natural white.

The felt has been born by hand, with Marseille soap and warm water. Calm movement has bound the fibres together, without haste. Every part has taken shape in its own way, by listening to the wool.

The shape of the hat is soft and playful. The brim moves lightly and the top bends as if in a breeze. Two ears rise from the surface with their own expression – a small glimpse of humour in an otherwise calm whole.

This hat is not entirely serious. It is a reminder that everyday life is allowed to be light. Every piece is its own individual, and no two will ever be the same.

Pilke accompanies you in the sauna, at the ice hole, and in the hot tub, as well as in the brightness of winter days and on forest excursions.

Material: 100% organic raw Finnish Landrace wool

Feature: The wool naturally contains some lanolin, which helps repel moisture and keeps the felt soft.

Care: Air out after use. Light hand-cleaning if needed. Do not machine wash.

Lifecycle: Fully natural and biodegradable material – when the time comes, the hat can be composted.
