Karhunjälki (Bear Track)
The natural white wool is soft and calm. The shade lives subtly, as if a winter forest were breathing through it.
A bear paw has been felted onto the surface in brown wool. A clear track, warm and earthy. A mark of a traveller who has been here before us.
The felting was done by hand, with warm water and Marseille soap. Calm movement has bound the fibres together. The work has been done by listening to the wool, without patterns.
The front is softly folded up. The back remains more open. The edges have been cut freely, respecting the natural form.
This hat is unique. Every paw settles in a slightly different way. It goes to the sauna and ice hole. To the warmth of the hot tub, a winter forest, and the hiking trail. Safe, like a bear's embrace.
Circumference approximately 71cm.
Height from the front approximately 17cm and from the back approximately 20cm.
