This hat is a dark brown shade with a subtle hint of grey. The surface is deep and vibrant; the wool is tightly set yet retains its natural ruggedness. The shade resembles a rock face in a winter forest.

The felting was done by hand with Marseille soap, warm water, and gentle movements. The work proceeded without patterns or haste. The wool shaped itself in its own way, and the final outcome could not be fully anticipated.

The hat is large and deep. One can seek refuge beneath it – hair, ears, and thoughts. The shape slopes down in the front and rises slightly higher at the back, offering protection and structure.

Light markings, like rock carvings, have been felted onto the surface. They carry a silent message from times past – symbols, secrets, stories. Each hat is unique, and no two will ever be exactly alike.

Kallio is suited for the sauna, the ice hole, and the warmth of a hot tub. It accompanies you on winter forest excursions and feels like a natural part of the landscape.
