Root – Handfelted Sauna Hat

Natural white wool carries a quiet light.
The surface reveals the sheep's own shade, soft variations, and subtle life.

The felted pattern, made with brown wool, runs along the hat's surface like a thread of life.
It could be wild vine, a hawthorn branch, or a deeply rising root.
Something that seeks light and grows.

The felting was done by hand, using warm water and Marseille soap.
Calm movements have bound the fibers together.
Without a pattern. Without haste. Listening to the wool.

The shape is softly curved, almost bell-like.
The brim moves freely, gently undulating.
The surface is natural and warm to the touch.

This hat is unique.
The pattern is never exactly repeated.
The direction of growth is always slightly different.

It is suitable for the sauna and ice swimming.
For the steam of a hot tub and a winter forest.
Calm and serene, yet with a hopeful power within.

Material: 100% organic raw Finnish Landrace sheep wool
Color: Natural white, with a lively, branch- or root-like pattern felted with brown wool
Manufacture: Hand-felted with Marseille soap in Salo, Southwest Finland
Care: Air out after use. If necessary, light hand cleaning. No machine wash.
Feature: Wool naturally contains some lanolin, which helps repel moisture and keeps the felt soft.
Lifecycle: Completely natural and biodegradable material – the hat can eventually be composted.
