Hiipiä (Creep)

The dark brown base shade carries the silence of the forest with it. Lighter fibres and small natural markings are visible on the surface, like paths traced along the ground that do not reveal themselves straight away.

The felt has been born by hand, with Marseille soap and warm water. Calm movement has condensed the wool into shape, while leaving it alive and breathing. Every fibre has settled into its own place.

Along the side of the hat runs a light line that traces out a figure. It does not announce itself – it is only found when you stop to look. A cat in hiding, moving quietly and with precision.

The shape rises tall and descends softly. The crown curves to the side, like a movement caught mid-pause. This hat is never quite the same as another.

Hiipiä accompanies you in the sauna, at the ice hole, and in the hot tub, as well as on winter days and forest excursions. It suits those moments when silence says more than words.

Feature: The wool naturally contains some lanolin, which helps repel moisture and keeps the felt soft.

Care: Air out after use. Light hand-cleaning if needed. Do not machine wash.

Lifecycle: Fully natural and biodegradable material – when the time comes, the hat can be composted.
