Ooze

Tihku is crafted from long, off-white wool, giving the hat a soft and shaggy texture. The strands rise to the surface freely, like mist over a meadow after rain.

The hat has been hand-felted using Marseille soap and warm water, with calm and steady motions. The wool has not been dyed or industrially leveled, so every fiber retains its own natural character.

A landscape of the forest floor has been needle-felted onto the surface in dark brown and black wool. A spruce stands silently to the side, with plants and branches rising around it as if after the rain, when everything awakens and reaches toward the light. A curved peak rises toward the crown, its back edge shaded by darker wool.

This Tihku is one of a kind. Its long-fibered surface, dark illustrations, and curved shape were born from the qualities of the wool, not from a pattern.

It is suitable for the sauna, ice swimming, a hot tub, quiet winter days, and long forest walks. Everything smells better after the rain.

Care: Air out after use. Light hand cleaning if necessary. Do not machine wash.
Life cycle: Completely natural and biodegradable material – eventually, the hat can be composted.
