Otava

Otava is born from the wool of three sheep. Amidst brown, grey, and darker tones live creamy and light curls that bring light to the hat like stars in the night sky.

The hat has been felted by hand with Marseille soap and warm water, using calm motions. The wool has not been dyed or industrially smoothed, so every strand carries its own natural character.

A white star surrounded by small dots has been needle-felted onto the top, as if a small constellation had descended upon the wool. A sharp point rises as a crown, and soft ear flaps rest at the sides.

This Otava is one of a kind. The shades of three sheep, the curling strands, and the tracing of the star were born on the wool's own terms, not by a pattern.

It is suitable for the sauna, ice swimming, the hot tub, quiet winter days, and long forest walks. We will never tire of the stars.

Feature: The wool naturally contains some lanolin, which helps repel moisture and keeps the felt soft.

Care: Air out after use. If necessary, light hand cleaning. Do not machine wash.
Lifecycle: A completely natural and biodegradable material – eventually, the hat can be composted.
