Kehrä (Purr)

The shade of this hat is a warm, light brown, with the curly wool of the Finnish Landrace sheep showing through as vibrant and authentic. Small grey marks and lighter tones run through the surface, making the whole feel soft and natural.

The felting was done by hand with Marseille soap, warm water, and gentle movements. The wool was allowed to settle into its own shape without haste. Every step has formed by listening, not by forcing.

Light cat figures have been felted onto the surface of the hat. They remain part of the surface without defining it too strongly. The hat can be worn any way you like – the expression shifts gently with the angle.

The shape is low and protective, with a softly curving brim. Kehrä has a calm warmth and a touch of playfulness. It quietly reminds you of itself – of movement, of rest, and of the softness that lives in all of us.

Kehrä is suited for the sauna, the ice hole, and the warmth of a hot tub, as well as the quiet moments of winter days and forest excursions.
