Käpy (Pinecone)

The pale, natural shade moves softly between cream and the wool's own vibrant surface. Small, authentic traces are present – the fibres' own rhythm, which makes the surface lively and calm.

The hat has been felted by hand with warm water and Marseille soap. The movement has been slow and attentive. The wool has been allowed to settle into its own shape, without haste or force.

The shape is clear, yet playful. The long tip curves gently, bringing a small glimmer of joy to an otherwise understated whole. The brim is soft and lively, not perfectly straight – as nothing in nature is.

Every fibre has settled into place in its own way. This hat cannot be repeated. It has been born from this exact wool, in this exact moment.

It suits quiet saunas, the edge of the ice hole, the warmth of a hot tub, or a forest path. Days where there is no hurry – but room to breathe.

Material: 100% organic raw Finnish Landrace wool

Colour: Natural white, softly varying shade with subtle natural tones of the wool itself

Production: Hand-felted with Marseille soap in Salo, Southwest Finland

Feature: The wool naturally contains some lanolin, which helps repel moisture and keeps the felt soft.

Care: Air out after use. Light hand-cleaning if needed. Do not machine wash.

Lifecycle: Fully natural and biodegradable material – when the time comes, the hat can be composted.
